Wordly is a series of paintings by Jacinto Salcedo that aim to question, what’s the value of art, originality or artistry? Can a work of art be a statement and criticism simultaneously?
The title, Wordly, is a made-up word, combining the words “worldly” and “word”, to allude at the same time to the mundane and sophisticated use of words.
